About us

This program is designed to convene high-potential emerging leaders in Istanbul from across the Middle East and Central Asia—a region in which Turkey plays a central and unifying role. Beyond bringing participants together, the program aims to cultivate a lasting regional leadership network grounded in shared values, dialogue, and collaboration. Initiated by Boğaziçi University Lifelong Learning Center, the program is further strengthened by the active engagement and support of Boğaziçi University’s global alumni network.

What This Program Stands For
At its core, the Global Leadership Development Program is about how leaders think, connect, and act in an increasingly complex world.
Grounded in Boğaziçi University’s tradition of academic excellence, critical inquiry, and global engagement, the program creates a space where multidisciplinary perspectives meet real-world challenges—and where leadership is shaped through dialogue and collective insight
What Participants Gain
Participants do not simply attend a program; they become part of a leadership ecosystem.
Depth: Expanding intellectual horizons and strategic thinking through exposure to diverse disciplines and ideas.
Perspective: Engaging with peers from across the region to examine global challenges through multiple cultural, political, and social lenses.
Connection: Building lasting relationships within a globally connected network that extends across generations of Boğaziçi University affiliates.
The result is a community of leaders equipped not only with insight, but with the capacity to collaborate, influence, and drive meaningful change.
Why This Matters Now
In a world defined by fragmentation and uncertainty, leadership can no longer be siloed, unilateral, or purely technical.
This program responds to that reality—by cultivating leaders who can navigate complexity, build bridges, and contribute responsibly at both regional and global levels.
