The Program

Seminars & Leadership Immersion

Fellows spend a week in Istanbul, immersed in an experience designed to broaden perspective, deepen leadership capacity, and build a strong sense of community. An extended orientation introduces Fellows to the University’s intellectual heritage and to Istanbul as a living crossroads of cultures, ideas, and histories—setting the foundation for meaningful exchange and collaboration throughout the program.

The seminar program, which will be held in Bogazici University Campus, is complemented by a curated series of engagements organized by the Program Management team. These include strategic visits to government institutions, non-governmental organizations, local administrations, and leading academic bodies, alongside carefully selected encounters with Turkey’s historical, artistic, and cultural landmarks. Together, these experiences connect theory with context and leadership with lived reality.

At the core of the program are Fellowship Seminars, leadership skill-building sessions, panel discussions, and hosted dinners with distinguished voices from public life, academia, and civil society. Fellows also have the opportunity to participate in selected academic courses, allowing them to engage directly with Boğaziçi University’s teaching and research environment.

Supported by the Program Management team, Fellows are encouraged to actively cultivate relationships with faculty and students, positioning themselves as contributors to campus life. These connections often evolve into formal and informal speaking engagements, collaborative discussions, and lasting intellectual exchange.

Distinguished Speakers

The program brings Fellows into dialogue with distinguished speakers addressing pressing global and regional challenges. Through candid, off-the-record conversations, Fellows are invited to ask difficult questions, explore competing viewpoints, and gain rare insight into the personal journeys behind leadership roles and public influence.
